Nathalie's entrepreneurial journey began in Montreal's vibrant retail industry, where she started selling jewelry and quickly demonstrated her natural ability to understand customer needs and market dynamics. Her hands-on experience in retail provided invaluable insights into consumer behavior that would later inform her technology solutions.

Transitioning to a clothing manufacturer, Nathalie gained comprehensive business experience across multiple departments - from shipping and credit management to sales operations. This diverse exposure taught her the importance of streamlined processes and efficient operations, principles that would become central to her later business philosophy.

HEC Montreal

While pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration at HEC Montreal (École des Hautes Études Commerciales), one of Canada's premier business schools, Nathalie demonstrated remarkable entrepreneurial drive by opening a men's store in the heart of Montreal. This venture showcased her ability to balance academic excellence with real-world business application.

Her education at HEC Montreal, completed in 1994, provided her with a solid foundation in business strategy, operations, and management - skills that would prove essential in her future technology leadership roles.

Technology Pioneer in Silicon Valley

California Era

After graduation, Nathalie made a bold move to California, where she embarked on a new career in technology consulting with JD Edwards in Denver. Her role involved implementing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems across diverse industries, where she quickly established herself as a leading consultant.

Her expertise led her to specialize in the casino and restaurant industries in Las Vegas, where she became renowned for implementing and training customers on diverse ERP applications. This experience honed her ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.

Oracle Innovation Leadership

Product Development

Seeking new challenges, Nathalie joined Oracle, initially in consulting where she spent significant time at ViewSonic deploying ERP applications. However, her innovative mindset and deep understanding of customer needs led her to transition into Oracle's product development division - a move that would define her as a technology visionary.

In product development, Nathalie mastered every aspect of the software creation process. She wrote comprehensive feature specifications and requirements for Oracle applications linked to CRM systems, created detailed mockups, conducted thorough testing, and even contributed to UI design and product promotion. Her holistic approach to product development set new standards for customer-centric innovation.

Internet Revolution Pioneer

Silicon Valley Boom

Working between Los Angeles and San Francisco's Silicon Valley, Nathalie was at the epicenter of the internet revolution and the startup boom. As one of the first women in the tech industry during this transformative period, she witnessed and contributed to the digital transformation that would reshape global business.

Her early adoption of emerging technologies and keen eye for innovation positioned her as a forward-thinking leader who could anticipate market trends and technological shifts before they became mainstream.

Wi-Fi Vision & Eye-In Media Birth

2003 - Present

When family circumstances brought Nathalie back to Montreal, she continued commuting between Silicon Valley and her hometown. It was during this period that Intel introduced Wi-Fi technology - first as a stick, then as a chip. Nathalie immediately recognized the transformative potential of public Wi-Fi as a CRM, promotional, marketing, and communication tool.

In 2003, the same year she gave birth to her son Noah, Nathalie founded Eye-In Media and signed her first major client - Van Houtte, the first coffee chain in Canada to deploy Wi-Fi in cafes and install internet kiosks. This groundbreaking deployment demonstrated her ability to identify market opportunities and execute innovative solutions.

Franchise Industry Expertise

Digital Signage Innovation

Nathalie's hands-on field experience revealed the critical need for restaurant chains to have uniform marketing campaigns with specific placement strategies deployed simultaneously across all locations. This insight led her to develop extensive expertise in the franchise industry.

Her deep understanding of franchise operations culminated in a landmark achievement: becoming the first company to deploy coast-to-coast digital signage for McDonald's Canada and McCafé. This massive undertaking required coordination with marketing, operations, and IT departments while working directly with in-store employees to understand cross-functional requirements.
