Interactive navigation that connects the hospital kiosk to a visitor’s phone.

The best ideas often come from the ground up. A few months ago, Tara Binning suggested a digital kiosk to modernize the hospital. Emmanuelle Legros found one with directional videos, destination images, and a QR code for mobile navigation—an easy way to help disoriented patients find their way. Thanks to Micheline Béland, the CIUSSS West-Island Montreal Users' Committee, and Monique Guay with Dr. Stephen Rosenthal’s team. Sometimes, a big impact comes from small setups: an outlet, network connection, and a few floor screws. At CIUSSS, we proceed step by step with projects that truly make a difference.

At Lakeshore General Hospital (CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal), visitors search for a destination on the kiosk, then take the directions with them on their phone.
